[I] Tracer

Hierarchical tracing whose enabled areas are controlled by TracerOptions.

Methods

sub()

sub(subarea): Tracer;

Returns a child tracer that prefixes subsequent areas with this subarea, separated by a dot. Child tracers share the parent’s filtering and log destination.

trace()

trace(
   area,

): void;

Logs a message under a dot-separated area when that area is enabled. The default compiler tracer uses the area as the log code and does not forward the optional target to its logger.
